I grew up in the “big” city of Jefferson, NC and came to Winston-Salem to attend college in 1969. In 1972 I started working for what was then Northwestern Bank. There I obtained my property and casualty and life license. In 1999 I left to take a managerial and commercial lending job with Fidelity Bank in Clemmons. We would be the first Fidelity Bank to open in Forsyth County and we started the Bank branch “de novo” with no customers.
After 40 years in banking, I retired in March 2016. I stayed retired for a full 3 months before I decided to come work at Infinity Insurance in June. My passion in life as a banker was to help people obtain their personal and business goals by way of loans, financial advice and insurance needs. I am fortunate to be able to continue my passion by helping my customers understand their insurance and making sure they have the right coverages for their personal and business policies.
When I am not working, I love spending time with family, friends and especially my 10-year-old grandson. I enjoy my weekends watching him play baseball and basketball, and attending Wake Forest athletics and the Carolina Panthers Football games.
